PEDIALYTE® POWDER STICKS

Oral rehydration solution for all ages

Pedialyte® is specially formulated to help prevent dehydration in children and adults by replenishing fluids and electrolytes lost during diarrhea and vomiting. Can be used for maintenance of water and electrolytes following corrective parenteral therapy for diarrhea.

Preparation

Directions for Use:

  • Store powder sticks at room temperature. Avoid extreme temperatures.
  • Reconstitute with water only
  • Dissolve entire contents of 4 sticks in 1 L, 2 sticks in 500 mL, or 1 stick in 250 mL of drinking water (to achieve appropriate concentration of medicinal ingredients). If drinking water is not available, use boiled or bottled water to prepare the solution.
  • Do not boil the solution after it is prepared.
  • Tastes best served cold.
  • Refrigerate unused reconstituted product in a sealed container and use within 96 hours.
